Sunday school

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another--and all the more as you see the day approaching."  (Hebrews 10:24-25)

Adult Sunday school

Classes meet at 9:45 am .

We expect each class to build community among its members and guests. Increasingly, we hope individuals have the support to grow as disciples and disciplemakers.

Most of our classes use LifeWay "Explore the Bible" which is an 8 year journey through every book of the Bible.

Most of our classes have mission projects and times of fellowship outside of the class.

Some of our classes average only a handful and some have an average of close to forty. There are medium size classes as well.

Feel free to call the office (843) 423-3111 for more information.

Youth Sunday School

Our youth Sunday school department consists of grades 7-12. We meet first as one large group on Sunday mornings at 9:45 in the "Upper Room." In this relaxed "coffee house" atmosphere, we enjoy fellowship, food, drinks, and of course, coffee. We utilize the KNOWN materials from LifeWay. This curriculum is designed to help students "know Christ, own their faith, and make their faith known."

Our students also gather on Sunday nights and Wednesday nights at 6:00 in the BIGHOUSE. There are special events throughout year in addition to our weekly stuff. We are looking forward to our beach camp in June and mission trip, World Changers, in July.

Children's Sunday School

Kids 1st-6th Grade are doing The Gospel Project for Sunday School at 9:45 on the second floor. Half the time they are all together and half the time the 1st-2nd split apart from the 3-6. This is a Christ-centered Bible study resource that follows a chronological timeline of Bible events--from Genesis to Revelation--over the course of three years. Each week the stories come to life through video, music, activities and more as kids connect biblical events to God's ultimate plan of redemption through Christ.
